সত্যি বলতে বেশিরভাগ নন ফিকশন বইয়ের ই কিছু না কিছু কমন বাক্য পাওয়া যায়। যেমনঃ Be better, Be happier, be the best( in some cases), be smarter, faster, sexier ব্লা ব্লা ব্লা আরো কত কিছু!!
এ জায়গা থেকে মার্ক ম্যানশন কিছুটা ভিন্ন আঙ্গিকে দেখিয়েছেন কিভাবে ছোট ছোট বিষয় জীবনে অনেক বড় প্রভাব বিস্তার করতে পারে। কিভাবে কম গুরুত্বের বিষয়কে নিয়ে সময় নষ্ট না করে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, পছন্দসই বিষয় নিয়ে পরিশ্রম করা যায়। আমাদের জীবনে বেশিরভাগ সময় ই কম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়গুলোকে আমরা বেশি গুরুত্ব দিয়ে গ্রহণ করি, ফলশ্রুতিতে বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়গুলো কম গুরুত্বে, অবহেলায় থেকে যায়। Mark বইটিতে time, importance, dream, goal, সব কিছু নিয়ে খুঁটিনাটি চোখ এড়িয়ে যাওয়ার মতো বিষয়গুলো নিয়েও আলোচনা করেছেন৷ বিশেষ করে আপনি পাঠক হিসেবে তার লিখার প্রেমে পড়ে যাবেন তার অসম্ভব সুন্দর যুক্তি গুলো দেখে। বইটির কিছু কিছু অংশে লেখকের নিজের চড়াই উৎড়াইয়ের কিছু অনুপ্রেরণামূলক ঘটনাও রয়েছে।

1. Most of the time we run after success, we give a fu*k what we don't like to do even supposed to. The Author has directed this way that the key to a good life is not giving a fu*k about everything or everyone. It is, giving a fu*k what we choose to do.
2. Happiness comes from solving problems. The meaning of 'solving' is not to avoid those problems rather than to accept and solve them.
3. When we feel that we are choosing our problems, we feel empowered, but when we feel our problems forced upon us against our will, we fell victimized and miserable.
4. Improvement of anything is based on thousand of tiny failurs; and the magnitude of your success is based on how many times you've failed at something. If someone is better than you at something, then its likely beacuse he/she has failed at it more than you have.
এটা বলা বাড়াবাড়ি হয়ে যাবে যে বইটি মোটিভেশনের জন্য পড়া উচিত। কারণ Motivation ছাড়াও এতে Relation, Love, dedication, friendship আরো অনেক কিছু নিয়ে সুন্দর যুক্তিসহ বর্ণনা রয়েছে।
সবশেষে, বইটি যারাই পড়বেন, পড়ার পর বুঝতে পারবেন কি মিস করে গেছেন এতদিন।
